Well, no, but to answer your question directly...it is not a sign of cheating if your husband closes the door when he used to leave it open. He could be sick. I close the door when my stomach has not liked the food I ate prior and it will take a toil on my bowls.

However, it seems like trust is missing from your marriage and you may want to talk to him about how you feel in a gentle way and suggest counselling if he is open to it. If he is not, you may want to get some for yourself to see what it is you want to believe and what you should do and how you can trust and if you can trust him.

Good luck.

I have been married dang near 11 years and I still close the door when I use the restroom and my wife does the same.... would we scream in horror if one of us left the door open? No, but using the restroom is not really a spectator sport and I don't need a spotter either. There is no correlation between infidelity and bathroom doors. My wife never rinses off her dishes... I always thought that it was something that she never thought about... maybe it is because she is cheating on me!

I've never heard of it being a sign of cheating. Although, yes, I could see closing the door as an opportunity to text or something without being seen, but my first thought would be that he simply wants some privacy while using the restroom. If this is the only "clue" you have to suspect your husband is cheating, then I'd suggest you leave the issue alone until/unless some other "evidence" becomes available.
